Physical therapy interventions and education can significantly improve quality of life for individuals of all ages impacted by pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, sexual dysfunction and/or urinary or fecal incontinence or other voiding dysfunctions.

Pelvic floor therapy uses external and internal examination techniques to identify deficits contributing to pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, sexual dysfunction and/or urinary or fecal incontinence or other voiding dysfunction.  Treatment options, determined by the results of examination, include fascial release, trigger point release, stretching, coordination training, strengthening, and/or education.
